Record any video from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and other services with just the click of a button. Then once your video is recorded to the cloud, the app can auto-download that file to you overnight as you sleep, using your off-peak data.

Once downloaded you’re able to watch the video anytime, anywhere, buffer-free and even offline!

Maximise Your Data Plan. Schedule recordings to be automatically downloaded to your device only when you’re on Wi-Fi or during your preferred off-peak hours. Ideal for those with limited and capped mobile data plans, or satellite internet customers with limited internet during peak times!

All You Need is Your Phone or Tablet.

Easily browse and find shows and movies from your favourite streaming sites. The PlayOn Cloud mobile app will record your selections in the cloud. It's easy to sync your recordings across iOS or Android devices or download recordings to another device. You can also download recordings to your PC to watch on your TV via a Roku, Chromecast, FireTV or Apple TV.

How It Works

PlayOn Cloud is a streaming video recorder (SVR) located in the cloud. When you select a video and click to record it in the PlayOn Cloud app, we start recording a copy of it in the Cloud, like a VCR records TV.

This is done without your data allowance and once that recording is complete, an .mp4 file will be ready for you.

You can then choose to download that video, using your data, when suits you best.

You can even schedule the download to happen automatically overnight in the PlayOn Cloud app. We also email you a download link to the video so you can download it from anywhere onto any device or computer if you’d prefer.

All recordings will be stored in the cloud for a complimentary 7-day period.
